The Opportunity:
In this role, you will work closely with our Operations Manager to ensure the smooth and profitable operation of all private groups and independent passenger trips, as well as external clients. You will have the chance to assist the Operations Manager in managing our leaders and guides, providing essential support to our Trek Team. Your contribution will be crucial in upholding our Intrepid safety and conduct standards, as well as implementing Responsible Travel policies. Additionally, you will actively participate in maintaining trip quality and resolving any issues that arise during the quoting process and on-site. In this position, you will also serve as a key contact for our Sales department.
This is a full-time permanent position that will operate on a hybrid basis out of our office in Bogota, Colombia. To provide the best experience to our customers, this role would operate mostly out of our office with some work-from-home days.
A bit about you:
- Relevant tourism qualifications desirable
- Extensive travel experience in Colombia and a passion for travel
- Travel industry work experience, particularly as a Group Leader with priority given to those with experience in Intrepid Group brands and/or other adventure travel companies
- Management coaching/training experience would be advantageous
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) in both English and Spanish
- Experience in administrative tasks, using Microsoft Word and Excel
